On behalf of our client we are looking for an international experienced media relations expert. Start date is June and duration initially six month. The position is based in Mannheim area.
Key Areas of Responsibility as Media Relations Senior Expert
• Building and Maintaining Relationships
• Gathering and Forwarding Outside-in Intelligence
• Building and Strengthening a network of global media contacts across regions and media categories (online, print, social media, broadcast, business, trade and verticals)
• Develop a story pipeline that strengthens public profile with regard to business strategy, innovation and thought leadership as well as leading market position in business software
Key Tasks
• Manage, build-out and execute global story pipeline adapted on regional requirements
• Further develop regional media network and ensure effective and complementary division of labor between agency and team in managing media relationships and driving global story pipeline
• Provide PR advice and guidance to senior and executive management which has key spokesperson responsibility
• Oversee and help manage the development and execution of story ideas and PR plans for Regional Presidents and Executives in close collaboration with respective integrated comms and global MR team
• Provide execution for the communication plan
• Supports Management Team by providing information and insights from regions, market segments, and industry sectors based on individual research and knowledge bases
